Services Vermont Country Flowers offers customized floral design, delivery, set up and related design elements for weddings and other celebrations. Consultations I offer complimentary consultations. We can meet at your venue site so together we can look at room sizes and colors, garden sites or other notable features to discuss ideas and options. Or, if you prefer, we can meet at my studio. Booking your event To ensure personal service and individual attention, I book only one large event per weekend Following our initial consultation, I will send you a written proposal. To book your event a $200.00 deposit is required. You may want to book early to reserve your day. A written contract will be provided following booking. Delivery and Set Up Delivery fees vary according to distance. A labor fee will be added for set-up. Costs will vary depending on the complexity and time of installation. Payment and Deposits To reserve the date of your wedding or other event, a $200.00 non-refundable deposit is required. All orders must be paid in full two weeks prior to your event. I accept checks and cash. Any returned checks will incur a $35.00 charge. Rental Items I have some items available for rent. If interested, please inquire for more information. Your deposit will be held as a security deposit for any rental items. All rental items must be returned in good condition. If any items are missing or damaged, the full replacement cost will be deducted from your deposit. This deposit will be returned to you within 2 weeks following your event. Following your event, items may be returned to my studio or I will arrange pick-up. Substitutions I do my best to obtain your desired flowers, unfortunately due to shipping complications or quality, a certain flower may occasionally need to be substituted. I reserve the right to choose an acceptable substitute of equal value for your order. You will be consulted on any major changes. Cancellations If, for any reason,your event is cancelled up to 2 months before your day, any payments you’ve made, less your deposit, will be refunded. If your event is cancelled anytime between 2 months and 2 weeks prior to your day, you will be responsible for half the amount of your event. If, unfortunately, your event is cancelled anytime during the 2 weeks prior to your date, you will be responsible for full payment.
